About the Festival
Join us for the third annual Cartersville Bluegrass & Folk Festival on Saturday, October 17, in downtown Cartersville. Over the past two years, this festival has quickly become one of the largest, most anticipated events in downtown Cartersville. Nearly doubling in attendance from the first year, the 2014 festival featured two stages of music, a Kids’ Area, and vendor area including food, crafts and art. This year we will be expanding the vendor area to include more food, arts and crafts, and adult beverages for purchase.
Centrally located among the many historic buildings and progressive charm of downtown, Cartersville Bluegrass & Folk Festival features two stages of entertainment – each nestled among their own, unique atmosphere. The Depot Stage, held in Friendship Plaza, sits next to the historic train depot and features a small amphitheater and plenty of grass to bring your blanket or lawn chair to nestle in for the day.Located by the 1979 bay area of the old fire station – which was erected in 1916 – is the Firehouse Stage. Both stages feature more than a dozen bands throughout the day of bluegrass, folk and blues genres.
We hope you will mark your calendars now to join us for another great event. Rain or Shine!
