Bring the family and come on out and celebrate the season with us!
A time-honored tradition, Dickens of a Christmas will return to Downtown Franklin on December 9 & 10. The festival, in its 33rd year, will feature holiday characters, live music, street vendors, and more! This year, there will even be an ice skating rink in Downtown Franklin, so bring the whole family and enjoy this holiday staple!
Snow will be falling on the 33rd annual street festival Dickens of a Christmas, a recreation of the Charles Dickens era using historic downtown Franklin’s Victorian architecture as the backdrop. Some 200 musicians, dancers, and characters will fill the streets, including several from Charles Dickens’s stories. Expect to see and interact with the nefarious Fagin from Oliver Twist; Jacob Marley, Ebenezer Scrooge and Tiny Tim Cratchit with his parents from A Christmas Carol; and of course, a Victorian Father and Mother Christmas with treats for children.
